¡¡¡¡Information and Computation Science Department is
composed of information and computation major with two orientations:
software engineering and computation science and one laboratory: Computation
and mathematical modeling laboratory. At present, the department has
a contingent of teachers who are very active in academic thinking
and full of vigor and vitality. Of over 40 teachers, 14 are professors
and associate professors, 10 have been conferred Doctoral and Master¡¯s
degree.

professors, 5 are lecturers and 8 are pursuing a doctorate or master¡¯s
degree. They are bearing the key responsibility of teaching mathematics,
a core course for all undergraduates in ZZILI. In these courses, advanced
mathematics was declared to be the provincial excellent course and
linear algebra and space analytic geometry the institute-level excellent
course. Mathematical teaching and research section, as a group of
integrity and devotion, has won the title of ¡°Advanced Teaching and
Research Section¡±. Information and Computational teaching and research
section: founded in 2000, this section now has a staff of 13, among
whom 2 are professors, 5 are associate professors, 3 are lecturers
and 1 is pursuing a doctorate degree and 6 are pursuing master¡¯s degree.
They are bearing the key responsibility of teaching the specialized
courses for information and computation sciences majors.
¡¡¡¡Computation and Mathematical Modeling Laboratory: it provides good
service to teachers and students in the teaching of Mathematical Modeling,
the optional course for all undergraduates in ZZILI, and the experimental
course for Information and Computational Sciences majors.
