This department owns a contingent of teachers and researchers which has rational knowledge and age frame. It has 65 faculties and staff, among whom 9 are professors, 25 are associate professors, 26 of the faculties got master’s or higher degrees and 7 are studying for doctor’s degrees. They count for 50% of the faculties.

　　There are three undergraduate specialties: mechanical design manufacturing and automation, observe and control technology and equipment and heat energy and power engineering. The number of students on campus amounts to 1700.
