Chemical Engineering and Technology (Undergraduate
course)
The students should master the basic knowledge of chemistry theories
and practice skills, chemical experiment skills, surface technique,
analytic test technique and applied computer science, cultivate the
applied abilities in chemistry, etc. they will meet the demands of
various fields, such as, chemical engineering, energy, surface technique,
light industry and environmental protection, etc.
This specialty consists of 2 major orientations
1. Electro-chemistry (Undergraduate course)
Main courses: chemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology,
electro-chemistry theories, electro-chemical technology, electro-chemical
technique, surface process mechanics, electroplating technique, chemical
power source production technique and technology, production qualities
test technique.
2. Fine chemical Engineering (Undergraduate course)
Main courses: chemistry, chemical reaction engineering, surface-active
agent synthesis application, and chemical equipment design.
3. Polymer Material and Engineering (Undergraduate course)
This course is an inter-disciplinary course of polymer material
and mechanical design and production. The main courses include elementary
theories of chemistry and chemical engineering, theories of mechanics
and mechanical design, material science, computer-supplementary design,
plastic formation design, molding and molding design skills .The students
will meet demands of various fields, such as, plastic factories, family
appliance plants, auto companies, and other fields related to the
polymer Industry. And they can engage in teaching of chemistry.
4. Applied Chemistry (Undergraduate course)
This course is an inter-disciplinary course of chemistry, chemical
engineering, material, and environmental protection. The courses are
chemistry, chemical engineering, material, environmental protection,
computer, electronics, Industry analysis, functional material, chemical
synthesis, function analysis test, and development application. The
graduates are mainly for fields of chemistry, light Industry, material,
environmental protection, medicine and academic research and development.
5.Process Equipment and Control (Undergraduate course)
The main courses are: chemical engineering, mechanical engineering,
control engineering, electronic science, control techniques, design
of chemical unit equipment and set equipment, monitoring and control
techniques. The graduates are mainly for fields of chemistry, light
Industry, material, environmental protection, medicine, petroleum
engineering, power source engineering, mechanical engineering, working
safety, and academic research and development.
6.Environment Engineering (Undergraduate course)
The main courses are elementary theories of chemistry and chemical
engineering, environmental science, analysis and test techniques,
pollution control and treatment techniques. The students will find
jobs in the environmental- protection- related fields.
7.Environment Monitoring (3-year special training course)
The main courses are Organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytic
chemistry, equipment analysis, environment monitoring, environmental
qualities evaluation, air pollution control, water pollution control,
solid wastes treatment, and sound waste control, environment science,
analysis and test techniques, and pollution control and treatment
techniques. This major will meet the demands of environment management
and environment monitoring and treatment.
