| The Department has two undergraduate specialties,
social work and law, both of which belong to the science of law. In
accordance with the advantages in discipline and the features of the
specialties, the department puts emphasis on the overall construction
and development of the discipline, highlights of the research and
innovation of the basic theories and strives to bring forth the excellent
discipline in this area. The specialty of social work started very
early and ran in the front row in the colleges and universities in
Henan province. The main orientation of Social work is community management,
and that of Law is intellectual property law and environmental resources
law, both of which have relative effects in Henan. Now, the department
has 16 professional teachers, including two doctors and eleven masters.
Paying much attention to scientific research, faculties in the
Department of Law constantly strengthen academic exchanges and make
brilliant achievements. In recent years, the teachers have undertaken
ten scientific researches at or above the provincial ministerial
level, including one project of the State Social Science Funds.
Meanwhile, they have published more than 30 monographs and textbooks
as well as over 60 academic papers, including ten national authoritative
special issues. |
